Senior analyst role with line management responsibility, managing the commercial modelling and delivery of budgeted P&Ls for defined brands within the McVitie's portfolio. Supporting the Head of Commercial Operations RG&P Controller through ensuring execution of the marketing plan through the sales team tracking delivery vs budget and recommending corrective action where necessary.
Highly cross‑functional and influential role: utilise periodic forums to influence the sales team to deliver McVitie's objectives and ensure they are fully equipped to do so through clear communication and provision of selling tools. Develop strategies to increase profitable growth through promotions and pack format strategy.
Requirements
- Experience of commercial modelling including strong Excel skills, price elasticity understanding, EPOS data, and commercial P&Ls.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- FMCG / Retail experience required.
- Line management experience desirable but not mandatory.
