What will this role achieve?

The Global Workday Support Team provide Tier 2+ support, advice and resolution to both pladis and Godiva globally on all matters Workday. The role holder will be required to provide expert support to all users, providing an escalation point for any issues unable to be resolved at Tier 1 alongside simplification and optimisation of our Global People system – Workday.

As a key member of the Global Team, the role holder will be instrumental in driving system enhancements and optimisation across the organisation through delivery of our Workday Roadmap. The Global Workday Manager must be a highly organised self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Support Regional Super Users with advice, guidance and issue resolution.
  • Provide end user training, communication materials and support for BAU and all relevant changes to Workday.
  • Drive Workday efficiency and lead internal projects whilst delivering our Workday Roadmap.
  • Expert for specific business processes and functional areas.
  • Capture system requirements for business stakeholders and impact assess across the Global system landscape, managing enhancements through to completion.
  • Analyse business report requirements by conducting information gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and gaining understanding of business needs.
  • Lead and support global Workday process excellence.
  • Testing of all future Workday releases.

  • Proven ability to learn new systems, tools, or concepts quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to develop new skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes or business operations (academic or practical experience).

Desirable:

  • Exposure to HR systems (e.g., Workday or similar).
  • Interest in HR, people systems, or digital transformation.
  • Understanding of data, reporting concepts, or Excel skills.
  • Expert, technical working knowledge of Workday in a live, BAU environment.
  • Global Experience.
  • Workday Certified.
  • Previous experience within HR function outside of HRIS.
