As Revenue Growth Analyst, you will work on revenue and margin improvement plans across the portfolio, including facilitating regular NRM processes, leading cost out programmes and SKU rationalisation. The role will serve as a key business partner for the business unit working with the Finance leads and Customer team in the UK, providing leadership and support to drive improved margin and top line growth. Working closely with the Commercial Opportunities Managers and the Analytics team, this exciting role is integral in ensuring all strategies and plans are fully modelled and delivered against agreed PPA targets.
- Managing the delivery of budgeted P&L’s for defined brands within the McVitie's and Jacob’s portfolio across all channels, on time and in full across all PPA agreed strategies with support from Commercial Opps Manage.
- Supporting the Revenue Growth through ensuring execution of the marketing plan through the sales team, tracking delivery vs budget and recommending corrective action where necessary. This includes developing strategies to increase profitable growth through promotions and pack format strategy.
- Track promo guideline execution, and optimise promo return on investment through internal evaluation and review systems.
- Work with marketing team to provide commercial perspective/inputs for NPD and brand projects.
- Use the pladis reporting suite, and conduct ad hoc analysis to identify brand P&L opportunities, challenges and build plans to improve profit or course correct.
- Utilise account reviews and execution forums to ensure delivery against PPA strategies and lead periodic brand performance reviews to ensure clear understanding of performance drivers by brand.

Essential
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills and awareness.
- Proven track record of providing robust and insightful financial analysis.
- Good communication skills (written, verbal and presentational).
- Proven experience of working in an FMCG business, ideally already with commercial teams.
Desirable
- Knowledge of TPM/promotional management IT systems desirable.
- Knowledge of Nielsen and Kantar data.
- Degree level education.
