Responsibilities include:
- Understanding of biscuit specifications
- Operating a variety of machinery across different plants
- Communicating with the Packing Supervisors and Managers to ensure that the line is running to the correct standard
- Reporting any problems on SAP and informing the ATM and Team Manager
- Delivering the production plan effectively with quality being the priority
- Leading Health and Safety standards within the area
- Personal responsibility for safety
- Ensuring that all accidents and near misses are reported within the correct timescales
- Helping to ensure quality standards are met along with the rules for cleanliness and safety
- Taking part in tiered meetings and having an active role in the boards as part of Supply Chain Excellence
- Developing and maintaining good communications and working relationships between manufacturing and planning
- Using Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
- Encouraging positive behaviour at work to build a strong and supportive team culture
Skills required:
- Basic numerical and literacy knowledge
