What will be your key responsibilities:
- Manually pack products within specifications (includes bending, lifting, stretching)
- Visually check for foreign matter / hazards
- Ensure quality of biscuits being packed is within product specifications
- Ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards
- Work to a high standard, enabling plants to achieve planned output
- Report any problems to Packing Supervisor
- Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained
- Support the Supervisors in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives
- Provide a co-ordinated link with all production processes on the line
- Minimise waste and recycle all product effectively
Essential:
- Will be able to carry out packing tasks and work well with others when packing and feeding biscuits, following all site requirements
- Proactive with a positive attitude and committed to keeping high production standards while working as part of a busy team
- Basic numerical and literacy knowledge
- Basic communication skills
- Previous knowledge of manufacturing environment
