Do you have experience working within Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment? Are you looking for a new challenge working as part of the Supply Chain team at Carlisle, responsible for producing some of the nations most loved biscuits and snacks? The Supply Chain team at the Carlisle site are looking to recruit into this key role, which will report directly to the Supplier Team Leader.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that materials are available so that both production and customer demands are met, along with ensuring that logistics planning and related targets. The role is multi-faceted and you must be able to manage both analytically and practically, at a site level.
Key deliverables:
- Responsible for Ingredients and Packaging ordering to meet the production plan
- Ingredients and packaging payment management
- Ensuring the correct and timely submission / physical write off reports for Ingredients and packaging, including disposal management
- Management of transport ordering, including segregation
- Management of WIP & Empty trays to other UK pladis sites and pallets
- Maintaining positive relationships with S&OP team
- Provide cover for the Supplies Team Leader as and when required
Bring your experience:
- Microsoft Excel – a minimum of intermediate level
- Microsoft Office – a minimum of intermediate level
- Knowledge and experience of SAP
- Knowledge and experience of Autostore, ideally super-user level
- Experience of managing relationships, both internal and external
- Food manufacturing experience
- Food Safety Level 1
