We are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Executive to join our Client's growing team. This is a consultative sales role — our clients often don’t know exactly what they need, so the successful candidate will be confident asking questions, guiding decisions, and recommending the right solutions. The role involves managing enquiries from first contact through to order, working closely with Design and Production to deliver projects smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming enquiries (phone, email, web) and take full ownership of opportunities
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions
  • Prepare and issue quotes using internal systems
  • Proactively follow up quotes and maintain pipeline momentum
  • Keep all jobs updated clearly in internal systems (handover-ready at all times)
  • Brief Design accurately and manage client feedback
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure smooth delivery
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator (phone and email)
  • Able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-managing
  • Comfortable using CRM/quoting systems

Desirable

  • Experience in signage, print, or a related industry
  • Experience in consultative sales
  • Understanding of materials or production processes

Key Behaviours

  • Takes ownership and follows tasks through
  • Keeps work organised and visible to others
  • Communicates clearly across teams
  • Calm and reliable under pressure
  • Commercially aware (value-focused, not just price-driven)

Success Measures

  • Conversion rate and quote follow-up
  • Pipeline organisation and accuracy
  • Job progression without delays
  • Internal feedback from Design/Production
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat business

This role would suit someone who is proactive and comfortable managing their own workload. It is not a heavily scripted or transactional sales role — candidates must be confident thinking for themselves and guiding clients.
