Due to our client's success and expansion, we are now looking to expand their senior lorry loader team. We are interested in hearing from you if you are an experienced crane lifting operator or Appointed Person / Slinger Signaller / Banksman / Lift plans/ HIAB driver / Operator.

All of our lifting team are confident and capable of operating HIAB / Palfinger / or similar to carry out the following types of work:

  • Cabins, Containers & Modular Buildings
  • Portable toilets
  • Heras fencing
  • Pallets
  • Hot tubs
  • Abnormal & Wide Loads
  • Unbalanced loads
  • Pillars, Poles, Metal structures etc

You will be familiar and capable of double stacking containers and cabins – so a fear of heights is not ideal! Hook lifting experience is also essential (Grab lifting alone will not be enough experience for our requirement).

Our client has excellent staff retention and can offer full uniform, 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays. Early starts, some later or occasional overnights or weekends (at enhanced rates) will be expected – so you must be flexible and willing to spend some nights in the cab when required. Overnights £25 per night.

You will have a sound geographical knowledge of the UK and have worked as a professional HIAB operator / driver. The vehicle you are driving is Class 2 but may often be attached to a trailer; therefore a Class 1 licence is preferred but not essential for this role.

We would be interested to hear from drivers with additional skills such as Appointed Person / Slinger Signaller / Banksman – and would be keen to discuss a more senior role with you! It's not just about the driving, either we expect all of our team to be personable, well-presented and focused on providing the best possible customer service at all times. Attention to detail, literacy and recent, relevant experience will help make your application stand out!

Ideally, you'll have experience of working within the regulations for FORS and hold full CPC. We provide regular training updates and courses for all our drivers. We will only consider drivers with plenty of recent, extensive and professional HIAB / Palfinger / other hook crane experience.
