Part-Time Charity Accountant / Finance Manager Contract: Permanent, part-time Salary: To be confirmed Placr Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Charity Accountant or Finance Manager to join a well-established charitable organisation. This is a varied, hands-on position with responsibility for the charity s day-to-day financial operations, monthly management accounts, regulatory compliance, budgeting and financial reporting. Working closely with the CEO, COO, Treasurer and Board of Trustees, you will provide clear financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role would suit a qualified accountant or someone qualified by experience who has strong charity-sector finance knowledge, including Charity SORP, FRS 102 and restricted fund accounting. The role You will take responsibility for maintaining the charity s financial records in Xero, including the nominal, purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, payments, aged receivables and the accurate processing of donations, grants and fundraising income. You will prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, deferred income and accrued income. You will also produce financial reports and commentary for the senior leadership team, Treasurer and Board of Trustees.
