Senior Maintenance Engineer Placr Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a senior, hands-on position responsible for maintaining and improving a broad range of manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose complex breakdowns, carry out planned and preventative maintenance and perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding across CNC machinery, mills, lathes and other production equipment. You will also work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, carry out root cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. A key part of the role will be supporting the company's investment in automation and robotics, including modifying existing machinery, integrating automated systems and contributing to commissioning and capital improvement projects. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor other Maintenance Engineers and provide technical leadership when required.
