This is a key role for an experienced quality professional with a precision engineering or machine shop background, taking responsibility for inspection, supplier quality, non-conformance and continuous improvement. The Role * Inspect precision-engineered components and sub-assemblies using CMM, Faro Arm and other metrology equipment. * Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications. * Manage NCRs, root cause analysis and corrective actions. * Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues. * Maintain inspection plans and quality controls through the ERP system. * Support Right First Time and continuous improvement initiatives. * Work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain teams. * Attend customer sites when required, with reasonable travel expenses covered. About You You will ideally have: * 3+ years’ experience in a machine shop, precision engineering or similar manufacturing environment. * Strong engineering drawing and GD&T knowledge. * Experience with CMM, Faro Arm and precision metrology equipment. * Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, AQL and supplier quality. * A Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
