Placr’s client is a successful precision engineering and manufacturing business looking for a Production Scheduler to take ownership of production schedules, coordinate across departments and help drive excellent on-time delivery. The Role * Manage forward-looking production schedules across manufacturing cells. * Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to agree delivery dates. * Monitor capacity, demand and potential production delays. * Work closely with Cell Leaders to maintain on-time delivery. * Maximise the use of ERP/order management systems and maintain clear order visibility. * Identify priorities and critical issues, taking ownership through to resolution. * Produce production and delivery performance reports and metrics. What We're Looking For * Experience in production planning, scheduling or a similar manufacturing environment. * Ideally, a background within precision engineering, manufacturing or assembly. * Strong Excel, ERP and systems knowledge; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience would be advantageous. * Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills. * Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities. * Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure. * Degree educated or qualified through relevant experience.
