We specialise in supplying highly skilled ambulance professionals and healthcare personnel to NHS Trusts, private ambulance providers, event medical services, and healthcare organisations across the UK. Our services include fixed-term staffing solutions, ad hoc temporary staffing, event medical cover, and workforce deployment across a wide range of clinical settings and patient acuities. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional who has previously worked within a framework-approved healthcare recruitment agency and understands the importance of delivering high-quality, compliant staffing solutions within strict customer SLAs. Initially offered on a temporary basis to support a period of significant growth, this role offers genuine potential for contract extension or a permanent position for the right individual. Key Responsibilities Managing the end-to-end compliance process for healthcare and ambulance personnel. Ensuring all candidates meet NHS, framework, client, and legislative compliance requirements before deployment. Conducting document verification, right-to-work checks, DBS processing, reference checks, qualification verification, and occupational health clearance monitoring. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the company CRM and compliance systems. Monitoring compliance expiry dates and proactively managing renewals. Supporting audits from NHS Trusts, framework providers, and private healthcare clients. Ensuring adherence to framework standards, including maintaining compliance against contractual KPIs and SLAs. Liaising with candidates, clients, and internal teams to resolve compliance queries efficiently. Producing compliance reports and assisting management with workforce planning requirements. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the compliance function. Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Compliance Officer within a healthcare recruitment agency. Experience working within a framework-approved agency supplying staff to NHS organisations. Strong understanding of NHS recruitment compliance requirements and industry best practice. Knowledge of DBS processes, right-to-work legislation, professional registrations, occupational health clearances, and referencing requirements. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment/compliance management systems. Desirable Experience supporting ambulance staff, paramedics, emergency care assistants, technicians, nurses, or other healthcare professionals. Knowledge of CCS, HealthTrust Europe, Workforce Alliance, Crown Commercial Service, or other healthcare staffing frameworks. Experience preparing for and supporting framework or client audits.
