50/50 on company‑provided leads, 60/40 on self‑generated business

Location: Remote working with a requirement to attend the Essex office once a week. Applicants must be based within a commutable distance of Essex.

Company: We are working with a mortgage brokerage with a strong flow of leads, particularly within the shared ownership and new build market. While shared ownership makes up a large part of the cases, advisors will also advise on residential and buy‑to‑let mortgages.

Mortgage & Protection Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on residential, buy‑to‑let and shared ownership mortgages
  • Manage a high volume of warm, qualified leads
  • Deliver strong protection advice alongside mortgage recommendations
  • Convert leads efficiently and compliantly
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and introducers
  • Attend the Essex office weekly for collaboration and performance support

Experience needed to become a Mortgage & Protection Advisor:

  • Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience advising on residential mortgages
  • Comfortable handling shared ownership, buy‑to‑let and self‑employed cases
  • Strong track record of converting leads
  • Confident discussing and selling protection products (life & income protection essential)
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage a busy lead flow
