We are working with a growing mortgage brokerage that is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Protection Administrator to support the day‑to‑day running and continued development of its Protection Department. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and improving processes. You’ll work closely with advisers, management and other teams to keep business moving, monitor activity and help the department operate as efficiently as possible.
Key Responsibilities of a Protection Administrator
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Head of Protection and wider team
- Monitor new business, outstanding applications and adviser workloads
- Maintain accurate management information and performance reports
- Coordinate meetings, training and departmental actions
- Liaise with advisers, case managers, insurers and internal departments
- Identify delays, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records, templates, guidance and procedures
Experience Required To Join As A Protection Administrator
- Previous experience in a departmental support, operations, coordination or senior administration role
- Experience within financial services, insurance, protection or mortgage advice is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Confident using systems, spreadsheets and general office software
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to take ownership, work independently and follow tasks through to completion
