Location: Sheffield

Our client, a leading mortgage broker in Sheffield with 50+ members of staff, is seeking an experienced mortgage advisor to join their friendly team. The company specialises in Shared Ownership and deals with a lot of First Time Buyers. They are looking to grow their experienced advisor team to deal with their large volume of leads. The role is hybrid and you only need to be in the office once a week! Working hours would be 9 am-5:30 pm mostly, but 1 late per week at 10:30 am - 7 pm. You would be expected to do an occasional Saturday (1 in every 2-4), with a day off in the week, or overtime pay.

Responsibilities as a Mortgage Advisor:

  • Advise customers on their whole of market mortgage options, using their in-house software.
  • Must be able to deal with a busy environment.
  • Work alongside their case management team to ensure the mortgage application is smooth for the customer.
  • Help the team continue to innovate outstanding mortgage advice technology by trialling new ideas and processes.
  • Ensure all of your work is completed to high standards and is compliant.

Requirements to become a Mortgage Advisor:

  • CeMAP qualified
  • At least 1 years’ experience in mortgages (whole of market)
  • Based near Sheffield
