We are working with an established and growing mortgage brokerage with strong estate agency partnerships across the Birmingham area.

The business currently has a successful team of Mortgage Advisors and an Administrator and is now investing in its next stage of growth by appointing its first dedicated Sales Manager.

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of the business, build and develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in driving sales, performance and expansion.

You\'ll work closely with the business owner, giving you real influence over recruitment, coaching and the overall direction of the sales team.

  • Sales Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor and develop the existing team of Mortgage Advisors.
  • Drive team performance through KPIs and sales management.
  • Increase protection and general insurance penetration across the team.
  • Recruit and grow the team by 2-3 additional advisors alongside support staff.
  • Coach advisors to maximise performance and maintain high service standards.
  • Work closely with the business owner to support the continued growth of the brokerage.
  • Travel between the company\'s estate agency branches as required.

Experience Needed to Become a Sales Manager

  • Current or recent Mortgage Advisor with a strong sales background.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or training junior advisors.
  • Previous estate agency mortgage experience is essential.
  • Consistently writing high levels of business.
  • Ambition to move into a leadership and management position.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage, protection and GI sales.
