Senior Health and Fitness Instructor role at Places Leisure (Places for People Group). We are a social enterprise focused on building active places and healthy people for communities to thrive.
Responsibilities
As a support to the department lead, you will help to shape, plan, implement and review the healthy communities and fitness offer within your facility. Assist the department lead to support, mentor and manage the team to achieve all health, communities and fitness related KPI\’s. Your key focuses will align to the healthy communities and fitness strategy on a page seven aspirations – customers, colleagues, retention, technology, commercial, group workout and environment. In addition, develop a range of impactful health and wellbeing initiatives targeted at communities who experience the greatest health inequalities.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in gym environment
- Experience of delivering group workout classes
- Level 3 Fitness – desirable
- Healthy Communities specific, Exercise to Music, Group Cycling or Les Mills
- Management experience within gym environment
