Responsibilities
- Carry out all general day‑to‑day maintenance within the leisure centre, resulting in a varied and exciting work programme.
- Plan and implement work schedules, carrying out work yourself where possible, or contacting contractors for any unexpected issues.
- Help monitor current contractors, ensuring that they are completing tests and inspections in a timely manner (i.e. periodic testing to comply with regulations).
- Deliver a high level of service, comfort and safety for users of the centres.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, supplying maintenance reports and updates to the Contract Technical Manager on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a maintenance role, ideally with a trade qualification.
- Awareness of health and safety, especially within public spaces, and ideally hold a Pool Plant Operator’s Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with external contractors.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and experience at interview.
