We have an exciting new opportunity for a Fitness Instructor at Places Leisure, where you will be working in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people. You will help inspire others to work together and deliver their very best. With your previous experience in the fitness industry, you will be enthusiastic, love talking with people and motivating others, and feel confident giving suitable health and fitness advice that matches each customer’s goals.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a minimum of CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2.
  • Ideal to hold CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3.
  • Motivated and driven, willing to obtain Level 3 qualification through learning and development opportunities offered by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Always put the customers’ needs at the forefront of everything you do and build personable and meaningful relationships.
  • Maintain an interest in continuous personal development and keep up to date with new industry trends.
  • Carry out initial inductions and ensure customers use equipment safely and correctly.
  • Work with customers of all abilities, setting and monitoring programmes as appropriate.
  • Deliver Personal Training and small-group sessions; offer Personal Training as an additional service and seek new PT clients through face-to-face interactions and basic marketing tools.
  • Work as a team to keep facilities clean and safe, adhering to regulations and company procedures; maintain consistent standards and strive to be your best in everything you do.
