Here at Middleton Pool and Fitness Centre we are looking for a recreation assistant for around 32-40 hours a week. This role will mostly be lifeguarding our swimming pools but also will include reception cover and duty manager cover. You will need to hold an NPLQ qualification.
As a Recreation Assistant it will be your responsibility to maintain the Health and Safety of the centre at all times including carrying out cleaning duties and preparing activity areas for all planned sessions. You will make sure all of the Centre's equipment is stored in a safe and secure way when not being used. You will work alongside the Duty Manager and report any matters of concern and carry out patrols.
The successful applicant will have a friendly, approachable manner and deliver excellent customer service to our customers. You will assist with first aid when required so ideally have some experience. You will ideally have worked within a similar role. Experience carrying out some cleaning duties and maintaining equipment would set you apart from other candidates.
