About the Role
We have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure, where you will work in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people.
A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential, but if you are safety conscious, a competent swimmer and eager to gain valuable life skills, we will support you in achieving this qualification.
In the Lifeguard Role we offer ongoing training and competency assessments, first aid at work training, swimming teacher qualifications and a variety of apprenticeship routes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities.
- Act safely whilst holding responsibility for the Health and Safety of all pool users and overseeing the operations of the building.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and ensure safety for customers while they enjoy the facilities.
- Deliver first class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly, professional manner and exceeding expectations.
- Maintain first class cleanliness and act when required.
Qualifications
- National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
