More About Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitness Instructor at Places Leisure, where you will work in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people. You will help inspire others to work together and deliver their very best. With your previous experience in the fitness industry, you will be enthusiastic, enjoy talking with people, motivate others, and feel confident in giving suitable health and fitness advice that matches each customer’s individual aspirations and goals.
All Fitness Instructors should hold a minimum CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2, and it would be ideal to hold CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3. If you are motivated and driven, Places Leisure will support you in achieving this qualification through our learning and development opportunities. There are many opportunities within Places Leisure to develop your career, including delivering Personal Training sessions, growing your client base, or progressing to a Fitness Manager role. We offer ongoing training and development, including support with CIMSPA Practitioner / Reps Level 3 qualification, and opportunities to enhance customer service skills and more.
More About You
- Always putting customers’ needs at the forefront and able to build personable, meaningful relationships.
- Committed to continuous personal development and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
- Carry out initial inductions and ensure customers use equipment safely and correctly.
- Comfortable working with customers of all abilities, able to set and monitor programmes as appropriate.
- Work with individuals running Personal Training and small group sessions; offer Personal Training as an additional service; and look to take on new PT clients from face-to-face interactions and basic marketing tools.
- Work as a team to keep facilities clean and safe, adhering to regulations and company procedures; maintain high standards in everything you do.
