We have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure. You will work in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people, inspiring others and delivering your very best. A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be beneficial. If you are safety conscious, a competent swimmer, and eager to gain valuable life skills, we can support you in achieving the qualification. Starting your career with us as a Lifeguard is a great first step to many different routes, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, or Customer Service. We will offer ongoing training, competency assessments, first-aid training, swimming teacher qualifications, and apprenticeship routes.

Qualifications

  • A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
  • We will support you in achieving it if you are a competent swimmer and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise customers and other lifeguards using our pool facilities.
  • Act safely while holding responsibility for the Health and Safety of all pool users and overseeing building operations.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure the safety of customers while they use our facilities.
  • Deliver first-class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner while exceeding high standards.
  • Ensure first-class cleanliness and act accordingly whenever required.
