More about your role

You will carry out work on individual properties and communal areas as directed by your supervisor, including general repairs. You'll conduct pre- and post-inspections, recording actions and outcomes. You'll assist with scheduling work and monitor your own expenditure, keeping accurate records while focusing on cost-efficiency and providing value for money to customers. You'll supervise and train apprentices when appropriate and undertake training as directed by your supervisor. All work must be completed in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and company policies. As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check. Although this role is advertised in a specific location, you will be required to work in surrounding areas.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds
  • Previous experience as a Plasterer, ideally within a social housing environment.
  • Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be based within the postcode we've specified in the advert.
  • Hold a valid driving license

More about you

You must be technically competent with an NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in your trade. Strong organizational skills are essential for planning workloads and estimating supplies and time. You should have a positive attitude toward health and safety, ensuring full compliance with company policies and standards. Good communication skills are required, along with the ability to use a tablet or smartphone for recording activities, capturing images, and recording survey data. A current driving licence is essential, and an additional Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade is preferred.
