We're recruiting for a Porter to join our on‑site team, working during the day to help ensure the development remains safe, well‑presented and welcoming for residents and visitors. This is a visible, service‑focused role where you'll support site security, carry out health and safety checks, assist residents when needed and work closely with the House Manager, cleaning teams and wider operations colleagues to ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the site. Rota: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (4 hours per day)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting day‑to‑day site security and monitoring access as required
- Assisting with health and safety compliance checks across the development
- Being a visible presence on site and assisting residents and visitors when needed
- Supporting the on‑site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information sharing
- Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in line with procedures
- Contributing to a positive, professional customer experience across the development
Essential
- Experience working in a service‑led environment
- Experience in a role involving site security or building monitoring
- Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Experience working in a customer‑facing, on‑site role
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of IT systems
