General Manager - Leisure in Surrey, Walton-on-Thames

Following significant investment at Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex, this is an exciting time to be joining the team. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring your team delivers exceptional service and well-presented, clean facilities at all times. You will identify strategic initiatives that provide real commercial value and make a positive impact on the bottom line. You will be the lead contact with our local authority client and be responsible for overseeing the contract delivery across Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex, Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub, and The Hurst Pool.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your local community engages in a range of sports and activities by ensuring your centre offers facilities that meet their needs, in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

You will be a strong leader with a commercial brain, and you must be able to evidence at interview where you have taken decisions that have improved the bottom line. However, more importantly to us is your ability to lead a fast-moving business and maximise commercial value whilst delighting our customers.
