The Senior Data Engineer role exists to lead on the design, build and maintenance of the data infrastructure that will power Places for People and the delivery of its business strategy. This role works with multiple teams (both business and cross functional project/IT) to ensure that data is available,reliable,and scalable, while also contributing to the development and delivery of our Data Strategy. The ideal candidate is a skilled data engineer whodemonstratesstrong technicalproficiencyand applies logical problem-solving to drive projects to completion.Expertisein SQL and Python is essential, as issignificant experiencewith DBT, GIT, and Terraform. Data Engineering with a focus on ETL / ELT Languages: SQL and python Minimum - Azure / AWS Concepts: Data Mesh, Test Driven Design, Agile DBS check is mandatory for this position. Senior Data Engineers work in DevOps environments, troubleshooting issues with existing data pipelines whilst also building new pipelines as per business needs. They can lead on the resolution of complex requests and problems andprovideexpert advice on the capabilities of the Data Platform.
