A strong understanding of your portfolio - knowing your buildings - will be key to your success. You will develop, maintain, and continually improve asset registers within our CAFM system to inform maintenance strategies, lifecycle planning, and investment decisions. Drawing on your experience in building services, compliance, and contractor management, you will implement effective maintenance regimes and robust review processes to ensure all technical, maintenance, and statutory compliance activities are delivered to a high standard.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and producing clear reports to track asset performance, compliance, and maintenance activities, supporting effective planning and decision-making. You will lead technical investigations into asset failures and performance issues, scoping and managing remedial works as required. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve asset performance, drive efficiencies, and deliver cost savings. Where risks are identified, you will ensure these are recorded within the risk management system, with clear mitigation plans in place, while managing stakeholder expectations through to resolution.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong engineering or technical background, with proven experience in building services maintenance, lifecycle planning, and asset management. You will bring a broad understanding of hard FM services and demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams. You will be confident in using CAFM systems to manage maintenance activity and asset data, alongside strong contractor management and performance oversight skills. A thorough understanding of statutory compliance, audit requirements, and health and safety standards is essential. You will be comfortable producing clear and well-structured reports and maintaining accurate records, including the use of spreadsheets to track performance, assets, and compliance activities. You will be a clear and confident communicator, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will also demonstrate a proactive, continuous improvement mindset and provide visible technical leadership within your region.
