More About Your Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for individuals referred to Healthy Communities programmes, ensuring a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, social prescribers, and partner organisations regarding programmes, referrals, and participant engagement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases in line with data protection requirements.
  • Screen participants in accordance with eligibility criteria and programme guidelines.
  • Provide clear, accessible information to help individuals choose and access the most appropriate programme.
  • Promote programmes and be responsible for associated sales, including memberships and services.
  • Take payment details securely and set up memberships and programme enrolments.
  • Book, coordinate, and manage appointments and programme sessions.
  • Support the team by managing schedules, appointments, and participant communications.
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of Healthy Communities initiatives within the leisure centre.
  • Effectively and professionally complete any admin tasks relating to the project/programme.

  • Experience managing data and communicating to a range of audiences.
  • Experience in a customer facing role or sales.
  • Passion for improving the health of the local community and awareness of local sports/health landscape.
