More About Your Role

You will play a key role in delivering a programme of individual asset transactions on behalf of the Group, contributing significantly to the achievement of over £40m in profit through the successful execution of a high volume of asset disposals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Acquisitions and Disposals Team across a range of projects, supporting the development and implementation of the Group’s asset strategy by providing strategic and analytical insight aligned with operational objectives. You will gain valuable experience in the team’s working practices, build key skills within the wider Assets and Investments function, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group.

The Transaction Coordinator will support the delivery of a large disposal pipeline of around 800 assets across England and Scotland, managing transactions from listing through to completion on behalf of Group companies including Place, Living+, Derwent, and Chorus. Working closely with the wider team, you will contribute to Group projects such as external Investment Valuations by collating, validating, and analysing asset and transactional data. You will produce clear, high-quality performance reporting and insights, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across housing, sales, maintenance, asset management, and finance teams. The role also involves commissioning and reviewing valuations, ensuring all properties meet compliance and disposal criteria before listing, and maintaining accurate records in line with Group and Government requirements, including invoice processing via the Business World system. Throughout, you will ensure all activities are delivered in line with legislation, internal policies, and best practice, while supporting the Group’s People Promises and Team Pledge.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and systems such as Business World and SharePoint.
  • A proven understanding of the residential sales process, with the ability to develop expertise in contracts, transfers, leases, and their legal and financial implications.
  • You should be a confident and proactive decision‑maker, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure, work independently, and consistently deliver against targets.
