At Residential Management Group (RMG), part of the Places for People Group, we deliver high‑quality residential property management services across the UK. We are looking for a Scheduling Manager to join our Osterna Asset Compliance team and coordinate property compliance inspection programmes nationwide.
Where will I be working?
37.5 hours per week – Hybrid role, 2 days a week based at our offices in Northwich (CW9 7LN).
More About Your Role
As Scheduling Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of national inspection activity, including fire safety checks, EPC assessments and wider property inspections. You will oversee scheduling across multiple regions, ensuring efficient allocation, on‑time completion and adherence to compliance standards and legislation. You will also lead and develop a back‑office team and work with senior stakeholders to drive performance, manage risk and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage a team of back‑office professionals, providing coaching and performance oversight
- Coordinate national inspection schedules to deliver programmes on time and to standard
- Monitor operational performance, identify risks, delays and improvement areas
- Manage resource allocation, capacity planning and regional coverage
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior stakeholders on performance and compliance
- Support the implementation of new inspection programmes and service improvements
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Conduct site visits to support teams, ensuring quality delivery and consistency
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in operations management, scheduling or project management
- Salesforce experience
- Strong background in workforce planning and coordinating large‑scale programmes
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams, including remote teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong planning and problem‑solving abilities
- Confidence using IT systems including Excel and reporting tools
Desirable
- Knowledge of compliance, fire safety or property inspection programmes
- Experience analysing operational data and improving processes
