Overview of your role
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis. This role is predominantly based in Sheffield with occasional visits to Wakefield and Nottingham, when required.
On a daily basis, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating DfM\\\'s hard services on site. You will be responsible for planning and organising the PPM programme and various other ad hoc activities. Reporting to the Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical expertise, mentoring and leading junior members of staff. In addition, you will carry out Health and Safety checks where required and ensure that all documentation is kept up to date.
At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. Therefore, a basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will come from a trades background and have a proven track record of leading and managing teams. Managing contracts and a track record of procuring goods is also desired along with Hard FM experience. You will also need a valid UK Driver\\\'s Licence.
