More about your role
As Head of Digital Products and Technology, you will lead the implementation, ongoing management and continuous improvement of key business systems. You will manage multiple systems with complex integrations, defining requirements and working with third-party suppliers, the Project Office, the wider IT team and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet current and future needs. You will also oversee system security, availability, reliability, documentation, support planning, updates and development backlogs, while making sure supplier service levels are achieved.
This is a hybrid role, working 2-3 days a week on site (your place of work will be the nearest Places Leisure Centre).

Essential criteria
Experience in a similar systems, digital products or technology delivery role,
A proven track record of implementing and managing business systems, including requirements definition, integrations, go-live planning and ongoing support,
Experience working with third-party technology suppliers and managing delivery against agreed service levels,
Evidence of delivering system improvements, updates or upgrades and managing bugs, issues or a development backlog,
Experience leading technology or systems projects using resources and stakeholders from across an organisation.

You are an analytical and solutions-focused professional who can understand both the detail and the bigger picture. You can manage competing priorities, explain complex subjects clearly and build effective relationships across the business and with external suppliers. You will bring a practical approach to change and continuous improvement, together with a strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality, information security and inclusive ways of working. Knowledge of leisure management systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft 365 implementations, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD or leisure operations would be helpful but is not essential.
