As an Assistant Swimming Teacher you will support the Swimming Teacher in swimming lessons from babies to adults. You’ll work closely with the Swimming Teacher in supporting swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the water. Within lessons, you may be responsible for a small group of learners learning a specific skill, under the direction of the Swimming Teacher.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Ability to work with children
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience at assisting in swimming teaching/children’s classes (preferred)
Technical / Professional Qualifications
- Level 1 UKCC Swimming Teacher qualification, or equivalent.
