We're hiring a qualified Plumber, offering a company van and consistent work within your Community. What you'll be doing
- Carrying out 2nd fix plumbing work across domestic properties both internally and externally
- Completing general plumbing repairs while maintaining high quality standards
- Working to specifications and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
- Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers, and wider teams to meet deadlines
- Recording work activity and completing required documentation
- Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIs
What your day looks like
- A structured schedule covering repairs and maintenance work
- Travelling between jobs in your company van
- Working independently or with a team of other tradespeople
- Engaging directly with Customers in their homes
- Completing work efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standards
Where you'll work
- Occupied homes
- Empty (void) properties
- A range of domestic properties within your local area
- Environments involving vulnerable Customers
Essential Criteria (you need to meet all of these to be shortlisted)
- NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Plumbing
- Experience working as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic properties
- Full UK driving licence
- Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be based within the WF postcode
Nice to have (not essential)
- Experience working across multiple trades, so you can finish a job end to end i.e. boxing in, painting, patch plastering.
