More about your role

As a House Manager / House Warden, you will play a vital role in keeping our residential community safe, well-managed and welcoming. You will be a visible presence on site, supporting residents, monitoring safety and security, and ensuring communal areas are well maintained. You will carry out regular inspections of the building and estate, report repairs and health and safety risks, and work closely with Property Managers, managing agents and contractors. You'll also be the first point of contact for residents, offering support, guidance and reassurance, particularly to elderly or vulnerable residents. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, combining customer service, safety awareness and practical property management.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience working in a residential, caretaking, concierge or property-related role
  • Good understanding of health and safety, security and emergency procedures
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal professionally with residents and contractors
  • Ability to carry out regular inspections and keep accurate records and logs
  • A responsible, reliable approach with the ability to work independently on site
