More about your role

As a Site Manager, you'll oversee all production activities on site, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Build Managers, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll coordinate day-to-day site operations, manage programme delivery and drive a positive site culture.

You'll ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, maintain accurate site records and uphold the highest standards of workmanship throughout every stage of the build process.

Essential criteria

  • Previous experience working as a Site Manager for a housebuilder delivering fast-paced new build residential developments from inception through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of traditional build, timber frame and modular construction methods.
  • Valid SMSTS qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.

You’ll be an experienced construction professional with a proven ability to manage multiple trades, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve programme, quality and budget objectives.

You’ll be confident leading site meetings, maintaining build stage inspection standards and ensuring plots are fully completed before handover.

Experience producing construction programmes using software such as Asta Powerproject would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of COINS and temporary works procedures, or a willingness to undertake further training in these areas.
