More about your role
Due to an internal move, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of External Communications to join us as Places for Places. Working for our Chief Impact Officer, and as a key leader in our Group Impact division, you\’ll lead a high-performing external communications team to shape and share the company\’s story with impact. You\’ll drive bold, strategic PR that amplifies our voice across media, influencers, and stakeholders— creating organic outreach and enhancing our reputation. And as well as enhancing and projecting our reputation, you\’ll work with the team to protect our brand From crafting agile crisis response strategies to partnering with top PR agencies and senior executives, you\’ll be at the heart of our most visible moments. You\’ll oversee flagship initiatives like external events, awards, and the annual report, while also helping our leaders shine on stage and in the spotlight. With a strong focus on integrated communications – working with our brand & digital team and our public policy unit, you\’ll help to influence perception, and policy. - Strong background in communications with significant expertise in media relations and thought leadership

You\’re experienced in managing complex issues and crises and thrive in fast-paced environments where you juggle multiple projects with confidence. Your written and verbal communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to clearly convey complex plans to senior audiences. You\’re also a confident people leader and, ideally, have a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders effectively.
