We are recruiting for a Payroll Advisor on a part‑time basis (3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday) on a fixed‑term contract until 30 April 2027. Reporting to the Payroll and Pensions Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll to 14,000 staff. On a daily basis you will run and deal with queries for the monthly payrolls for all businesses within the Group, provide a professional and efficient service for all group companies and employees in line with the Group’s policies and procedures and government legislation, assist in the preparation and processing of all monthly payrolls, ensure all data is checked and processed accurately, and ensure statutory compliance of all payments on to the payroll system in line with SLAs. This role offers hybrid working options (2 days a week in the office).

More About You

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of statutory legislation for payroll and pensions.
  • Working in a high volume transactional service.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • A track record of dealing with customers.
