We have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure. You will work in a fun, lively environment with likeminded colleagues and help inspire others to perform at their best.
Having a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is beneficial. If you are safety‑conscious, a competent swimmer, and eager to acquire valuable life skills, we will support you in achieving this qualification through continuous learning and development.
Starting as a Lifeguard opens pathways to roles in Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, or Customer Service.
We will provide ongoing training and competency assessments, along with first‑aid and swimming‑teacher training, and a range of apprenticeship routes.
Working Hours
- Monday: 6:00 – 14:30
- Tuesday: 18:00 – 22:30
- Thursday: 14:00 – 20:00
- Friday: 17:00 – 21:00
- Saturday: 13:00 – 17:30
More About You
A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise customers and other lifeguards while using the swimming and pool facilities.
- Act safely and hold responsibility for the health and safety of all pool users, overseeing building operations.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure the safety of customers.
- Deliver first‑class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly, professional manner and consistently exceeding standards.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards whenever required.
