Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming hedges, and maintaining soft landscaping areas.
- This includes planting trees, flowers, and shrubs, clearing snow from pedestrian areas, and ensuring walkways and car parks are properly maintained.
- You'll conduct weekly checks on groundskeeping equipment, perform litter picks, and address issues like dog fouling and sharps.
- You'll apply herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides when needed and occasionally carry out hard landscaping tasks.
- You will also participate in estate improvement works, prioritise areas, and assist with compliance checks to keep the estate safe and clean.
A satisfactory Basic DBS check is required.
Qualifications
- Valid manual driving licence, ideally with towing ability.
- PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence.
- Needle and sharp awareness.
- Strong working knowledge of estate management issues.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in similar services preferred.
- IT literacy to use smartphones, tablets and messaging/file-sharing tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and complete tasks to quality standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
