Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming hedges, and maintaining soft landscaping areas.
  • This includes planting trees, flowers, and shrubs, clearing snow from pedestrian areas, and ensuring walkways and car parks are properly maintained.
  • You'll conduct weekly checks on groundskeeping equipment, perform litter picks, and address issues like dog fouling and sharps.
  • You'll apply herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides when needed and occasionally carry out hard landscaping tasks.
  • You will also participate in estate improvement works, prioritise areas, and assist with compliance checks to keep the estate safe and clean.

A satisfactory Basic DBS check is required.

Qualifications

  • Valid manual driving licence, ideally with towing ability.
  • PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence.
  • Needle and sharp awareness.
  • Strong working knowledge of estate management issues.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in similar services preferred.
  • IT literacy to use smartphones, tablets and messaging/file-sharing tools.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and complete tasks to quality standards.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
