More About Your Role
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative on a permanent basis. The position will be based at The Quays, Lightship Way, Colchester CO2 8GY. This role is for 40 hours per week with working patterns of 8:30 am – 5 pm (with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break). Day‑to‑day tasks will include:
- Daily cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas
- Mopping and vacuuming on a daily basis
- Deep cleans when students leave
At Places for People we prioritise safer recruitment. A basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.
