More about your role:

  • You will primarily carry out electrical work in domestic properties, with occasional tasks in commercial buildings. This includes upgrades, repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding, and emergency lighting.
  • You should be familiar with domestic electrical installations and have a solid understanding of 3-phase systems.
  • You'll perform periodic inspections, testing, and complete necessary certifications in line with IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • If qualified, you'll conduct PAT testing for electrical equipment.
  • Timely and accurate completion of paperwork and data transfer is required.

As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to L3 Electrical - NVQ, SVQ, C&G L3 - AM2, and 18th edition (amendment 2).
  • Hold a valid driving license.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential for planning workloads, estimating supplies, and managing time.
  • A positive attitude toward health and safety is required, ensuring compliance with policy and standards.
  • Good communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to use a tablet or smartphone to record activities, capture images, and input survey data.
  • Preferred qualifications include Electrical C&G 2391 or equivalent, and a L2 trade qualification in an additional relevant trade.
