  • More about your role
  • This role is to deliver sessions in the community, not within our Leisure centres.
  • Set up and manage a range of sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programmes that deliver measurable impact for communities outside our Leisure Centres in Northumberland, focusing on tackling health inequalities and inequalities of access.
  • Complete any monitoring and evaluation requested by line manager in line with current data protection protocols
  • In line with relevant training / qualifications held, deliver specific Healthy Communties projects/ programmes, e. g.

Exercise Referral, Falls prevention, Mams on the Move, Group exercise sessions, Activities for young people, according to the parameters discussed with line manager.

  • Qualified instructor in relevant in relevant discipline to deliver sessions independently i. e.

Fitness Instructor, Exercise Referral, Coaching, Group Exercise, Pre-Post Natal - recognised by relevant governing bodies, such as: CIMSPA.

  • Experienced in planning, delivering and monitoring sessions.
  • Passion for improving the health of the local community.
  • Ability to use MS tools.
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to drive a community van.
