More about your role: You will be involved in providing an exciting and fun environment for our leisure users to engage in their climbing experience, ensuring that the environment is safe and entertaining at all times. You will deliver a safety briefing before all sessions to ensure that the participants are fully aware of all safety measures before taking part and that the area they will be in is safe and hazard‑free. Work with a wide range of customers, ages 4+. Work on regular kids clubs, taster sessions, parties and adult sessions. Part of your role involves being on the climbing wall reception, signing in customers, performing safety tests, answering the phone etc. We provide training for your instructor and coaching qualifications (CWI/CWDI/foundation/Development coach). We can train you to undertake route setting. This post will require you to work evenings and weekends.

Essential: You are a competent top‑rope climber – include experience in your CV. Candidates who are 16/17 will need to hold the Indoor Climbing Assistant qualification.

Desirable: Experience of working in a similar environment and engaging with children, it is desirable that you have experience working in a climbing environment, however we are looking to train and engage with our colleagues. Climbing Wall Instructor qualification.
