Responsibilities
- You will take an active role engaging with residents to promote safe and secure independent living, ensuring an engaging vibrant environment to reduce isolation.
- You will provide advice on rent and service charges, assist with benefits claims and support customers with financial needs.
- You will work with the internal Places for People income recovery team to reduce rent arrears.
Qualifications
- Experience/knowledge of housing management, social care and/or wellbeing of retirement living services.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build great relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Team‑player attributes and the ability to work independently and use own initiative; lone working will be required.
- Aware of Health & Safety.
- Experience managing anti‑social behaviour and challenging situations.
- A driving licence and own car for business use.
