More About Your Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join us at the forefront of developing and delivering a new Property Surveyor apprenticeship programme for the housing sector. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of property professionals, equipping apprentices with the technical expertise, professional confidence and customer-focused mindset needed to make a meaningful impact on homes and communities.

Drawing on your surveying expertise, you will design, deliver and assess high-quality learning that brings the profession to life, translating industry practice into impactful workplace development. You will support apprentices throughout their journey, from onboarding and initial skills assessment through to gateway and end-point assessment, providing coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to enable their success.

Working collaboratively with employers, partners and colleagues, you will help ensure the curriculum remains relevant, innovative and aligned to the evolving needs of the housing sector. You will also contribute to delivering an outstanding learner experience and achieving strong outcomes.

This is a remote-based role, with regular travel required to the PfP Thrive Skills Centre in Derby and to employer premises.

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 qualification in Surveying or a related discipline (or higher), with industry experience in a surveying, property, asset management or housing-related role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property surveying, building construction, asset management, compliance and customer-focused service delivery.
  • Experience of delivering training, teaching, coaching or mentoring within a professional, education or apprenticeship environment.
  • Experience of designing and delivering structured learning programmes or curriculum content.
  • Experience of assessing performance, providing developmental feedback and supporting learner progression.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging and accessible learning experiences.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Holds, or is willing to work towards, a recognised teaching and/or assessment qualification (e.g. AET, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).
  • Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and quality standards within an apprenticeship environment.

Desirable Criteria

  • Membership of, or working towards membership of, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).
  • Experience of delivering housing, property or surveying apprenticeship programmes.
  • Experience of using digital learning platforms and learner management systems.
