More about your role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Governance & Company Secretarial team. In this key supporting role, you will assist in delivering the governance and company secretarial requirements of a diverse and evolving Group.
You will help ensure compliance with relevant legislation, governance standards, and reporting obligations, contributing to the smooth operation of the Group\'s corporate structure.
The Essential Criteria for the role is
- Sound experience of company secretarial work in a large complex organisation
- Familiarity with mainstream company secretarial software and able to take a leading role in its use within the Group.
- The ability to work accurately and under pressure with strong attention to detail. Adaptable and self-motivated in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary settings Also a confident, clear and precise communicator, able to tailor messages to different audiences.
Regular travel to the York Office and some travel to attend meetings will be expected (e.g London/Edinburgh/Preston).

You\'re organised, detail-oriented, and eager to grow your experience in governance and company secretarial work within a large, multi-faceted and growing group of companies which cuts across several sectors. You communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and can stay calm under pressure working as part of a small yet dynamic team. The ideal applicant will be able to work well independently and will have the ability to prioritise their work whilst also being flexible in their approach. You\'ll also have the appetite to keep learning and developing in role and the Group will support that ambition.
