What you'll do

This is your opportunity to make a real difference to someone's journey. You'll help learners see their potential, build confidence and turn learning into meaningful change in their role and career. By creating trusted relationships and understanding what makes each person tick, you'll know when to encourage, when to challenge and when to step in with extra support – helping every learner keep moving forward and achieve their best.

You will:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one tutoring, coaching and assessment.
  • Build trusted relationships with learners, line managers and workplace mentors.
  • Inspire learners to stay motivated, engaged and focused on their goals.
  • Spot barriers early and take positive action to help learners move forward.
  • Balance nurture and encouragement with appropriate challenge and high expectations.
  • Provide meaningful feedback that builds confidence and supports improvement.
  • Assess learner work fairly, consistently and to the required standard.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and compliant learner records.
  • Take ownership of learner progress, engagement, quality and compliance.
  • Work in line with apprenticeship, awarding organisation, safeguarding and PfP Thrive requirements.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, standardisation and continuous improvement, helping us continually raise the bar for our learners.

More about you

You don't necessarily need to come from a further education background. We're looking for someone with strong occupational credibility and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant occupational qualification and/or demonstrable occupational competence in your specialist area.
  • Current or recent industry experience relevant to the programmes they will support.
  • Willingness to work towards relevant teaching and assessment qualifications if not already held
